This page explains how Safimeal creates its content (recipes, articles, quizzes and cues) and the principles that guide our editorial work.
Who writes
The content of the website and the application is prepared by the Safimeal team, which brings together cooking, nutrition and writing skills. Our recipes draw on everyday Moroccan and Mediterranean cooking; our articles and quizzes aim for simple, useful and verifiable cues.
Our rules
Our first rule allows no exception: we never assign a score or a rating to a product, and we do not classify foods as “good” or “bad”. Inside the app, additives are presented neutrally, for information only, without any value judgment.
When we cite reference points, we rely on official sources: public databases such as Ciqual, and references from bodies such as ONSSA or the WHO. Our content remains informational and culinary; it never replaces the opinion of a health professional.
Finally, we know mistakes remain possible. If you spot an inaccuracy, report it to us through the Contact page: we correct it as soon as we can.
App & site transparency
The website is designed as an inspiration showcase: photos, ingredients and cues to make you want to cook. The guided step-by-step, the detailed nutritional profile and personalized features stay in the application. We clearly distinguish general information from anyone's personal choice.
